Cell Leader : Manufacuring

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an accomplished Cell Leader to join a progressive and high‑performing manufacturing facility. This is a pivotal role for an experienced CNC professional who is ready to combine technical expertise with leadership responsibility in a modern, evolving environment.

This opportunity offers genuine influence, autonomy and the chance to shape a growing team while working within a flexible four‑day working pattern.

• 40 hours per week over 4 days (Monday : Thursday)
• Operating hours: 05:00 : 17:00
• Flexible start and finish times within this window
• Freedom to choose your own working pattern, provided 40 hours are completed

• Lead, coordinate and manage all activity within your designated cell
• Plan and prioritise workflow to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines
• Liaise with other Cell Leaders to ensure consistency and efficiency across the machine shop
• Set, operate and oversee CNC milling machines (3:
  
  Axis, 4:
  
  Axis and 5:
  
  Axis)
• Set and run 3:
  
  Axis CNC lathes
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and technical specifications
• Provide hands‑on support, guidance and mentoring to team members
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement, process optimisation and team growth initiatives

You will be a confident, technically skilled CNC professional with proven leadership capability and a proactive mindset. You will be driven by high standards, team success and operational excellence.

• Previous experience as a Cell Leader or Senior CNC Machinist within a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Fanuc and Heidenhain control systems
• Advanced capability in setting and running:
• 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines
• 3:
  
  Axis CNC lathes
• The ability to accurately read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A calm, professional and solution‑focused leadership style
• A passion for developing others and building a high‑performing team
