YourRole and Responsibilities
Technology is evolving fast, and industries like banking, healthcare, energy and transportation are transforming right along with it. As an Infrastructure Specialist Associate, you’ll help organisations navigate that change – whether they’re running on‑premises systems, cloud environments or hybrid setups. You’ll work with modern tools, support critical infrastructure and develop hands‑on skills that keep the digital world running.
What You’ll Work on as an Associate Infrastructure Specialist- Help design, build and run complex hybrid infrastructure platforms that underpin critical application stacks.
- Use programming concepts and at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, Ansible) to support automation and troubleshooting.
- Work with architecture components to fix simple issues and configure environments (adding memory, configuring backups, managing networks, setting up cloud accounts, installing applications).
- Learn and help create infrastructure automation playbooks using Terraform and Ansible.
- Support OS and application‑layer patching by collaborating with administrators, database teams and network teams.
- Contribute to installation, environment provisioning, configuration, systems management, backup and recovery tasks.
- Gain hands‑on experience across infrastructure layers including OS, network, storage, virtualization and cloud services.

Assessment Availability RequirementsAssessment Centres will be scheduled in February. Your availability for these dates is critical as they are mandatory and there will be no option to choose. Spots are limited, so please ensure your calendar is clear.
Technical Experience- Exposure to scripting or programming (Shell, Python, Ansible or similar).
- Understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: operating systems, networks, storage, virtualization.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and major providers (AWS, Azure, IBM, Google, Alibaba, Oracle, Red Hat).
- Awareness of AI and Data Science basics, ethics and methodologies.
- Operational understanding of operating systems, system diagnostics, remote support and application infrastructure.
- Ability to use data and logic to approach complex tasks and technical issues.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑moving, tech‑driven environments.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to break down complex topics clearly.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and staying organised.
- Curiosity, initiative and a desire to build new skills continually.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and understand diverse technical perspectives.
- Passion for innovation and openness to different points of view.
Predicted 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree or achieved in a STEM, Economics or Statistical degree or similar.
