We invite you to join Malmaison as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at our Cheltenham property. This permanent, full‑time role is based at our Regency‑style hotel with 61 bedrooms and a 62‑seater Bar & Grill. £13 per hour for 40 hours per week.

Malmaison Cheltenham was purchased in 2015 and features 61 well‑appointed bedrooms, a 62‑seater bar & grill, four private event spaces (largest seating up to 18 guests), and stunning Regency architecture surrounded by manicured gardens. The hotel is located in the historic town of Cheltenham, within walking distance of the fashionable Promenade and the Montpellier district.

As Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will lead a team of housekeeping staff to deliver celebrity‑standard service and ensure every room meets our high standards. You will have final decision authority on room readiness and will set the tone for guest visits. You will also be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staffing levels, coordinating with laundry and maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols.

• Deliver consistent, high‑quality housekeeping service across all rooms and public areas.
• Maintain and enforce cleaning standards, safety protocols, and health guidelines.
• Schedule and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient task allocation.
• Conduct room inspections, making final determination on room readiness.
• Collaborate with cross‑departmental teams to coordinate guest requests and issue resolution.
• Track and report on housekeeping performance metrics and key indicators.
