Langley has a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our busy and friendly team in Cheltenham . This role is a full time, 12-month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week . The successful candidate will receive a salary of £24,727 per annum . The shift pattern will be 12.5 hour shifts across a 7-day period.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To act as the Key Worker to designated clients as required.
• Perform individual personal care tasks, including washing, showering and toileting, medication administration and promoting independence.
• Write care plans and ensure these are followed and handed over to all staff, take an active part in hand over and report any concerns to the Management Team.
• De-escalate and manage stressful situations in a calm manner.
• Regularly fully utilise the Trust ‘Client File’ with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes.
• Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service and to support client engagement.
