Our Home First & Reablement service supports people return home after a stay in hospital. This helps them continue their recovery in their own surroundings – regaining their ability to live as independently as possible.

This is an exciting time to join our service – we are expanding to continue to provide quality care and support and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to work with people in their communities.

We are recruiting experienced and new to care Rehabilitation Assistants in Cheltenham.

As a Rehabilitation assistant, you will work closely with other health care professionals, delivering essential clinical and personal care. You will ensure that our service user needs are met and assist the team in maintaining high standards of care delivery.

If you are new to care and hold no experience in healthcare, then we offer a fantastic development opportunity with a structured development plan (including achieving the Care Certificate). You will progress from a pay band 2 to pay band 3 on achievement of the Care Certification.

Main duties of the job

Our service runs 24/7 and all our Rehabilitation Assistant roles offer core hours of .

This post is to cover the hours of 7:00-22:00 split shift on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern. Shift examples are: 7am – 1pm / 7.30am – 1.30pm / 8am – 2pm / 8.30am – 2.30pm / 9am-2.30pm coupled with an evening shift pattern of 4.30-9pm / 5-9.30pm / 5.30-10pm / 5-10pm

Please note that this role is locality based visiting people and therefore it is essential that all applicants have a valid driving licence for the UK and access to a vehicle that they can use for work purposes.
