Refrigeration Engineer

Take ownership of maintaining and managing environmental stress chambers while supporting critical product testing. Work on diverse equipment and develop your technical expertise in aerospace facilities.

• Experience with Thermotron and Sharetree environmental stress chambers
• F gas qualified Category 1 from an accredited body such as C&G, BESA, LCL or CITB
• Electrical competency for refrigeration systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player with organisational and communication skills
• Computer literacy

£40 - £60 per hour (inside IR35)

• Maintain and manage environmental stress screening chambers
• Program chambers to support product testing
• Fault find and support planned maintenance activity
• Operate additional equipment such as laser wire markers and vibration systems with training provided

• Proven refrigeration engineering experience
• Knowledge of aerospace or high-technology facilities environments
• Competent with electrical systems in refrigeration
• Able to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline team

Cheltenham, onsite
