Casey Smiles' is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team in Cranbourne, VIC. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during patient procedures by anticipating their needs and passing instruments
• Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
• Preparing and organising treatment rooms for patient appointments
• Greeting and welcoming patients, as well as providing outstanding customer service
• Ensuring the proper handling and disposal of medical waste
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Providing patients with post‑treatment instructions and answering any questions they may have

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role, but not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Someone with a can‑do attitude
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile work environment
• Relevant qualifications in dental assisting or a willingness to undertake training
