Integration Services Intern (260001XC) – a 10‑week paid internship under EOTSS at the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security. The position is based at 200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150 and follows a hybrid model of in‑office and work‑from‑home days.

The internship offers hands‑on experience in enterprise application support, production troubleshooting, requirements gathering, analysis, and technical documentation. You will support the operation and enhancement of a statewide Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform and API services that enable secure data exchange between applications.

• Support the administration and ongoing improvement of enterprise integration platforms (MFT, Online Report Viewing, and API Services)
• Assist with onboarding new customers by gathering and documenting requirements, performing configuration tasks, and supporting customer testing
• Troubleshoot and help resolve customer‑reported issues
• Collaborate with engineers and business analysts to deliver secure and reliable solutions
• Participate in daily operational support and project work as needed

• Gain hands‑on experience supporting mission‑critical enterprise applications used across Massachusetts state government
• Learn how large‑scale system integrations are designed, supported, and maintained
• Develop strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strengthen written and verbal communication skills through collaboration with technical teams and customers
• Gain exposure to APIs, secure file transfer protocols, enterprise reporting systems, and cloud‑based environments

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Results‑oriented with a strong customer service mindset
• Basic understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP concepts), file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

The summer internship runs for 10 weeks from June 1 through August 7. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate (May 2026 graduation date).

All offers are conditional upon passing a Massachusetts Criminal Background Check (CORI) and a security clearance/fingerprinting consistent with IRS and/or public safety requirements, along with required security training.

Monday‑Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, hybrid model

Pay: $22.00 per hour
