Job Summary
The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role also includes closing the shift for the business day, preparing accurate bank deposits, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle all front‑desk activities, including:
    • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
    • Check members into the system.
    • Process new member sign‑ups.
    • Conduct tours for prospective members.
    • Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
    • Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally; elevate issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
  • Close the shift and create a bank deposit for the next day.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Punctuality, reliability, and dependability are a must
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co‑workers, exceeding member expectations.
  • Strong listener capable of empathizing and problem‑solving.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
  • Potential for:
    Weekly Attendance & Production Bonus, Bi‑Weekly Team Bonus, and Monthly Mystery Shop Bonuses.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
