Position: Part-Time Leasing Consultant (47252)

LEASING CONSULTANT – BE THE HEART OF OUR COMMUNITY

As a part‑time Leasing Consultant, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for every potential resident, walking them through the exciting journey of finding their perfect home. From the first “Hello!” to the day they pick up their keys, you’ll be there—greeting, touring, answering questions, and making move‑in day a breeze.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Apartment Matchmaker – Greet and assist future residents in finding the right apartment home, ensuring a seamless, fun, and stress‑free experience.
  • Tour Guide with a Twist – Show off our beautiful, move‑in‑ready apartments with enthusiasm and charm.
  • Resident Cheerleader – Build trust and rapport with current residents to create a welcoming community.
  • Leasing Rockstar – Work closely with your team to hit leasing goals while keeping customer service top‑notch.
  • Renewal Expert – Help current residents renew their leases because they can’t imagine living anywhere else.
What We Offer

Required

Skills and Abilities
  • Treat all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care; demonstrate a natural disposition toward personal and public safety; operate from a place of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
  • Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes.
  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity, accept responsibility and take ownership of tasks, follow through on commitments, take initiative and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales is required.
  • Natural disposition for sales and understanding of sales techniques and processes.
Physical Requirements

Expected work hours:
Part‑time on the heaviest traffic days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and Sundays on an as‑needed basis) and Holidays during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly. Leasing Consultants will be scheduled according to Company guidelines and standards and must approve their schedules with their supervisor.

Travel:
None.

Work environment and physical demands:
General office environment, ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Able to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs in various weather conditions and variable climates.

FLSA Status:
Nonexempt.
