What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact by answering and routing calls and greeting patients, families, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and compassion
  • Provide administrative support to patients and families, responding to inquiries and assisting with non-clinical requests
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars for care planning, interdisciplinary team (IDT), and discharge planning meetings
  • Prepare, track, and communicate admissions, discharges, and discharge planning information; maintain accurate patient logs and tracking sheets
  • Manage agency communications and clerical tasks, including agency-wide emails, mail processing, and data entry for admissions and discharges
  • Participate in emergency preparedness activities and complete special projects or additional duties as assigned by leadership
What You'll Need
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in an administrative office position
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients, families, staff, and referral sources
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Prior experience answering phones and/or in a customer service or healthcare office setting
