Shipping and Receiving Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our onsite operations team. This role is responsible for managing the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• Accurately prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems or warehouse management software
• Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve shipping or delivery issues
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and shipping/handling regulations
• Assist with other warehouse or operational tasks as required

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift, move, and handle packages (within established safety guidelines)
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or shipping systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work onsite and follow scheduled work hours reliably
