Atlantic Restoration is looking to hire skilled Building Envelope Mechanics to join our dynamic field operations team. In this role, you’ll perform essential work that protects buildings from water, air, and environmental damage. This position is ideal for experienced tradespeople who are hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and passionate about waterproofing, caulking, and exterior envelope systems. You’ll work under the guidance of a Project Supervisor and contribute to high‑quality restoration and envelope repair projects throughout Greater Boston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform building envelope work, including waterproofing, membrane installation, caulking, joint sealing, and exterior cladding repairs.
  • Install and apply systems such as air/vapor barriers, liquid membranes, and sheet membranes on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
  • Support jobsite setup and breakdown, ensuring materials and tools are organized and ready.
  • Maintain safety standards and participate in regular jobsite safety meetings.
  • Assist in quality control efforts, inspecting completed work to ensure durability and compliance with specs.
  • Operate tools such as caulking guns, rollers, spray applicators, and hand tools related to envelope work.
  • Work effectively in varying weather conditions and at heights when needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in waterproofing, caulking, or building envelope repair.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Skilled in applying waterproofing systems and envelope materials on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, on scaffolding, and with heavy materials.
  • Ability to follow direction, read project plans, and work collaboratively with field teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and workmanship quality.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, minimum 8‑hour shifts

Some weekend work and overtime may be required based on project schedules

Work Location

Based in Chelmsford, MA

Job sites located throughout the Boston, MA metro area

Occasional training at Atlantic’s main warehouse
