• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to all customers.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑up, and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory and maintaining records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structures, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre‑cooked) and product placement as specified by policies; perform stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out method and restock outs for consumable items.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at store).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete required PPLs assigned by Manager or corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
