With the robotic paint cell humming, you monitor quality, load and unload parts, fine‑tune settings, and keep the booth spotless—so every finish meets spec and every shift ends safely.
About the RoleAs a Robotic Paint Cell Operator, you will help run, monitor, and maintain automated painting systems. You’ll prep parts, mix coatings (including two‑part urethanes), perform manual spray applications when required, inspect for quality, troubleshoot issues, and complete routine upkeep like filter changes and booth cleaning—all while following strict safety protocols.
Compensation & Schedule- Compensation Range: $16.00–$21.00
- First Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

- Pull the correct paint from inventory and verify against job specs.
- Mix coatings with the appropriate thinner to achieve spray viscosity.
- Prepare and apply two‑part urethane paint and reducer.
- Spray paint parts to specification and monitor robotic application results.
- Inspect finished parts for conformance to customer requirements.
- Collect surplus paint in the designated waste bucket beside the booth for hazardous pick‑up by the material handler.
- Replace filters and perform spray booth cleaning as needed.
- Move materials and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination, fine motor skills, and accurate color perception.
- Clear, effective communication and the ability to follow work instructions.
- Commitment to safety for yourself, your team, and the environment.
- Reliable, consistent performance and attention to detail.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial spray painting experience. Backgrounds in automotive refinishing or high‑precision manufacturing coatings are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Occasionally move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Able to ascend and descend stairs.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel as needed during the shift.
