We are seeking a person with a minimum of 3 years of investment operations or fund accounting experience to join our team at IMP Consulting. With your background in investment operations and/or fund accounting, you can begin training as a Business or Compliance analyst on our exciting SaaS product, CLEAR Compliance & CLEAR Framework.
Investment Management firms are streamlining their compliance and investment operations workflows with our revolutionary platform of machine-learning-assisted tools. Our clients collective AUM now exceeds $1 trillion, and our pipeline includes the top global investment firms. Our Compliance & Business Analysts help our clients analyze their data, extract requirements from documentation and via interviews with the investment teams, design and test workflows and compliance rules and improve the transparency and accuracy of their critical compliance and operations workflows.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze data, extract requirements from documentation and interviews with investment teams, and design and test workflows and compliance rules to improve transparency and accuracy of operations.
Minimum 3 years of investment management (buy-side related) experience, preferably in operations, fund accounting or compliance.
Understanding of security setup, valuation, and data.
Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, and cash workflows. Derivatives experience a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel.
Solid written and oral communications skills.
Understanding of compliance and the Investment Company Act of 1940 a plus.
Knowledge of relational databases and how to code SQL in Oracle, MS SQL Server or Sybase a plus.
Knowledge of and interest in writing Excel macros and creating custom reports using VBA, and/or Business Objects, is a plus.
Ability and enthusiasm for learning and problem solving.
Strong professional ethics and solid work ethic.
Greater Chelmsford Area, MA. In-person office days are required. Some travel may be required.
