THE WORK

Opportunity to join the RMS Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team supporting the Maritime Electronic Warfare portfolio.

Lead Program Finance Analyst supporting the Program Finance Manager and Program Management team on a corporate focus program and capture, with oversight of other programs by guiding analysts.

Seeking an experienced professional who is self‑motivated, with a finance or accounting background and experience in Program Finance, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Work cross‑functionally with program management, IPTs, CAMs, engineers, and the F&BO organization to meet expectations of fast‑paced production programs.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • All aspects of program finance including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis (e.g., monthly Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan).
  • Interface with Program management team members daily to ensure financial estimates, risks, and opportunities are timely and accurate.
  • Perform month‑end close activities, variance analysis, and account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts related to the assigned programs.
  • Complete periodic reporting to ensure adequate funding levels from the customer.
  • Support WBS set‑up, maintenance, and oversight as required to support program needs accurately.
  • Earned value management support and customer financial CDRL preparation.
  • Review inventory balances, unbilled/deferred backlogs, Accounts Receivable (AR), and related reserves in close partnership with Program Management.
  • Provide support to government accounting and pricing departments for customer requests (RFIs/RFPs).
  • Update quarterly the EAC model for assigned programs and present EAC results & analysis to senior management.
  • Provide objective solutions for improvement efforts related to systems and processes.
