Job Summary
:

• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.

• Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).

• Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency, and quantitative judgements concerning technical data.

• Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.

• May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience with troubleshooting RF and digital circuits.
• 3+ years' experience with laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Signal Generators.
• 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• 3+ years' experience with electrical component parameters and packaging.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Safe handling of ESD sensitive devices.

Skills Preferred

• Associate's degree in electronics or closely related technical field is desirable.
• Familiarity with microelectronics assembly techniques and desired.
• Soldering and assembly experience a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation, and frequency conversion circuits.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
