Core Responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, upgrade and configure as needed
- CheckPoint firewall
- SSL VPN
- Analyze and evaluate new technologies
- Develop operations, processes and procedures
- Communicate technical solutions to non-technical personnel
- Eagerly learn new technologies
- 5+ years’ experience with firewall, VPN and DNS configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting
- BA/BS degree and more than 5 years of direct experience
- Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, CISSP certifications are a plus
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects
- Experience with a leading Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool is a plus
