Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher

Location:

Harrington Elementary School
Assignment Dates: 03/05/26- 06/04/26 Dates are subject to change

Description:

* Design, supervise and implement students' IEP plans

* Instruct students using specialized curriculum.

* Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations.

* Participate in IEP Team meetings.

* Write effective IEPs for students

* Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress

* Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services including BCBA and related service providers

* Consult with general education teacher and related service providers.

* Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion.

* Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance.

* Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for
students.

* Write effective evaluation reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for assigned students.
