Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Community Sport & Wellbeing Team at Chelmsford City Council with a Physical Activity project for adults with mental health conditions. The project will be based at the Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre.
Responsibilities- Assist the head coach and other instructors in delivering a range of activities to clients referred to the centre as part of their ongoing support with mental health.

- Work up to 6 hours per week, over three afternoons on a casual basis (currently Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
- You may be required to work in other locations and there may be other opportunities as part of the project subject to further funding.
- Applicants should have a keen interest in sport or exercise class delivery.
- Experience of working and supporting adults with Mental Health and wellbeing would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- The successful candidate should be empathetic, supportive, organised, flexible and enjoy working directly with a wide range of individuals both internally and out in the community. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
