Overview
Home Serve are now recruiting for directly employed Water Supply Pipe Engineers to join our team! At Home Serve we put the customers' experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of water supply systems in our customers' homes. You will provide industry leading service and help us enhance our reputation, whilst driving customer growth.
To help you settle in to your career at Home Serve, you will undertake our extensive training programme.
- Undertake maintenance and repair work of water supply systems in customers’ homes.
- Provide industry leading service and help enhance Home Serve's reputation while driving customer growth.
- Complete onboarding and training programme as part of induction.
- Week 1 - Attend Head Office in Walsall Monday - Friday, covering Home Serve, health and safety, and providing tools and equipment.
- Week 2 - Buddied with an experienced Home Serve Water Supply Pipe Engineer.
- Geographical accommodation and meal allowance for induction where appropriate.
- Experience repairing, laying and identifying leaks on water mains
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent customer service
- Proactive, 'can do' attitude
- Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Location - Chelmsford
- Full Time - 40 hours per week. Includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work
- Salary - £36,250 - £40,700 (salary dependent upon experience). Plus a £1500 guaranteed bonus in your first year
