Sales Executive - Commercial Insurance

Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Full-time, on-site)

Salary: Competitive + bonus & commission

We’re looking for a driven Sales Executive to join a growing commercial insurance team. You’ll focus on building relationships, developing your client base, and driving new business, while supporting renewals and providing excellent service. This role blends client-facing engagement with business development, offering variety, challenge, and clear career progression.

• Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial clients through networking, referrals, and lead generation
• Manage client renewals, mid-term adjustments, and documentation
• Collaborate with broking, claims, and finance teams to deliver seamless client service
• Attend networking events and support marketing campaigns
• Stay up to date with market trends, products, and insurer appetite

• Experience in commercial insurance (broking or underwriting)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven
• Team player who enjoys collaborating across departments
• CII qualification desirable but not essential
