Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst - Writtle (Chelmsford)

Location:

Writtle, Chelmsford
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours:

9:00-17:00 or 8:00-16:00

Contract:

Permanent | Full-time
Start: ASAP

This is a great opportunity for a Bulk Laboratory Analyst with around 1 year's experience to join a busy and expanding laboratory based in Writtle, Chelmsford. Due to a sustained increase in workload, the company is growing its laboratory team and investing in long-term development.

In addition to the asbestos bulk lab, the business also operates a microbiology laboratory, offering genuine opportunities for progression and cross-training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Analysis of bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS procedures
  • Accurate recording and reporting of results
  • Maintaining laboratory quality and housekeeping standards
  • Adhering to all HSE, UKAS, and internal quality systems
  • Supporting the wider laboratory team during peak workloads
Requirements
  • Around 1 year s experience as a Bulk Laboratory Analyst
  • BOHS P401 (or working towards)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy lab environment
  • Comfortable working standard office hours
