Manufacturing Engineer

Hands-on manufacturing role focused on improving how products are built on the shop floor.

This position sits within a production engineering environment and is centred on continuous improvement, process development and supporting production teams day to day.

What you’ll be doing

* Leading and coordinating continuous improvement activity across the shop floor

* Improving layouts, workflows, routing and work instructions

* Supporting root cause, non-conformance and 8D investigations

* Managing and maintaining production process documentation

* Supporting design engineering with new processes and products

* Training and upskilling production staff on new processes and standards

* Supporting production builds, first-offs and tooling improvements

* Applying Lean and 5S tools to improve efficiency and consistency

The role is primarily site-based with occasional UK travel.

What this will suit

You’ll come from a manufacturing or production engineering background and be comfortable working directly with operators, supervisors and engineers.

Good fit if you:

* Have experience in process or production engineering

* Are confident driving CI activity on the shop floor

* Understand Lean, 5S and structured problem-solving

* Are practical, organised and comfortable training others

* Prefer improving real processes over desk-based theory
