We’re working with a highly regarded residential lettings business offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Property Manager to step into a Head of Property Management role within a thriving and supportive environment.
You’ll be joining a well-established team of multiple Property Managers, supporting a hands‑on Manager and Assistant Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the department. This is a brilliant step up for someone currently leading a small team or a seasoned Property Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
In a Head of Property Management role, you will be offered :- Up to £32,000 basic
- Realistic OTE of up to £35,000
- End‑of‑year profit

- No weekends
- Acting as a point of escalation for more complex issues, providing support and guidance to team members.
- Monitoring team workload, stepping in where needed to ensure service levels are maintained.
- Managing a small personal portfolio, handling maintenance issues, liaising with tenants and landlords, arranging contractor visits, and processing invoices.
- Driving customer service excellence and strengthening client and tenant relationships.
- Supporting the Assistant Manager in developing relationships with approved contractors and sourcing new suppliers.
- Getting involved in team events and internal initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative culture.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in property management, ideally with some exposure to team leadership.
- ARLA qualification preferred, but not essential (support can be provided).
- Must live a commutable distance from Chelmsford.
- A strong customer‑first approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive problem‑solver with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard property management systems.
