Claims Adjuster at AXA XL

Role

Claims Adjuster handling claims from first advice to settlement, the role involves a portfolio of claims for the following classes of business:

  • Directors & Officers
  • Employers Liability
  • Professional Indemnity
  • Cyber

You will report to Claims Team Lead.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Deal with First Notice of Loss ("FNOL") and open claim files.
  • Consider facts, issues and next steps in FNOL and identify further issues requiring clarification/investigation.
  • Consider coverage and policy response.
  • Identify matters that require referral to external legal panel or other service providers.
  • Oversee the appropriate direction of the claim and the overall strategy to ensure that the best possible resolution is achieved.
  • Review and process claim payments within authority level.
  • Deliver a prompt claims service to brokers and clients.
  • Assist underwriters with claims summaries for renewals.
  • Ensure all communications are dealt with appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure reserves are set and monitored in line with the reserving philosophy.
  • Ensure all internal and external SLAs are met.
  • Ensure customers are treated fairly at all times.
