Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join a well-established home and a compassionate team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while developing your career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Develop structured timetables, setting boundaries and expectations.
  • Assist with daily activities, including washing, dressing, meal preparation, and feeding when necessary.
  • Perform household tasks such as shopping, laundry, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Monitor children’s health and wellbeing, recording any concerns.
  • Ensure the administration of prescribed medications.
  • Support mental and physical wellbeing through engaging activities.
  • Work collaboratively with social care and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must have a clean, full UK driver’s licence.
  • Experience working in children’s services or a related field is preferable.
