Job Description Staff Nurse Radiology Springfield Hospital Full Time - 37.5 Hours We are seeking a proactive, skilled, and compassionate Radiology Staff Nurseto join our dynamic Imaging Department. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced diagnostic environment, with a strong commitment to patient care, clinical safety, and continuous learning. As a Radiology Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their imaging pathway providing clinical care before, during, and after imaging procedures such as Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography and interventional studies.

You will work closely with radiologists, radiographers, healthcare assistants, and ward staff to ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe care delivery.

Key Responsibilities Provide professional, high-quality nursing care to patients attending the Imaging Department. Assist with pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for contrast-enhanced imaging, biopsies, or interventional procedures. Monitor patients during and post-procedure, including the management of cannulation, contrast reactions, and other clinical interventions where needed. Support the coordination of patient flow and case prioritisation across imaging modalities, particularly during high-demand periods.
