About the role
We are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to provide experienced, calm leadership during our evening care calls. This is a senior, client facing role working closely with elderly people, including those with dementia, sensory impairment, and complex needs. Clear, confident English communication is essential for safety, dignity, reassurance, accurate care delivery, documentation, and leadership of other carers. This is a hands on, field based role focused on supporting carers, maintaining high standards, and ensuring safe, consistent care during the busiest and highest risk part of the day.
This role suits an experienced carer who is confident, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility when office support is not available.
About us
We are a close knit, supportive domiciliary care team who take pride in doing things properly. We value professionalism, clear communication, and looking after one another as well as our service users. We welcome people who want to be part of us, who care about the quality of their work, and who want to contribute positively to the team, not just turn up for shifts.
Alongside our day to day work, we make time to come together as a team. We hold regular get togethers throughout the year and have been known to enjoy a healthy bit of competition, including team bowling. We believe strong relationships within the team support better care and a healthier working environment.
