This is an exciting opportunity to be an Advanced MSK Clinician in Rheumatology within an integrated community MSK, pain, & rheumatology service based in Mid & South Essex. Cora Health has been delivering community MSK, pain & rheumatology services in South West Essex since 2015. The service delivery will be expanded across Mid & South Essex from 1 April 2026. This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary team during an exciting phase of growth.

About the Role

As part of the Community Rheumatology Service, you will be a key part of the multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, GPwSIs and Consultants; and you will work with our wider MSK service and Community Pain Team.

The role focuses on expert assessment and management of potential Rheumatological patients. You will be highly skilled in assessment and management of this patient group, with capabilities that may include, but are not limited to: training in this area, injection therapy, ordering/interpreting bloods, radiological imaging, independent prescribing, and ultrasonography. Some of these skills may be supported after joining the role.

You will help develop and influence service design, maintaining strong relations with existing hospital service provisions focused on high-risk complex patients.

While undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide range of physical and emotional needs, you will formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge.

You will be positive, constructive and approachable, and registered with the HCPC (or equivalent governing body). You should be capable of managing a varied caseload of patients, able to work under pressure, and committed to CPD. Experience in the NHS or public/private sector is acceptable; the emphasis is on the skills you bring to the service.
