We re recruiting locum Anaesthetic Practitioners to support various specialties across Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Whether you re seeking weekday shifts or full-time flexibility, we have roles to suit your lifestyle.

You'll be part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, including:

• Orthopaedics & Trauma
• Head & Neck
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Vascular

You'll will be:

• responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of anaesthetic procedures for patients undergoing surgery
• supporting the team to prepare a wide range of specialist equipment and drugs, including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment and devices that safely secure the patient s airway during anesthesia
• responsible for monitoring patients throughout the anaesthetic process
• responding quickly to any changes or complications that may arise

Essential:

• HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
• Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
• Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
• Mentoring or teaching qualification
