Mortgage Advisor

David Lewis Mortgage Services Ltd is an independent mortgage advisor and broker located at 138 Moulsham Street in Chelmsford. Established for over 40 years, providing whole of market mortgage and protection advice.

This is a full-time, office based role for a Mortgage Advisor. The Mortgage Advisor will work closely with clients to assess financial situations, provide tailored mortgage advice, and guide clients through the mortgage application process. Responsibilities also include marketing mortgage services, financial planning, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products and market trends. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a key aspect of this role.

• Meet with clients to assess their mortgage needs and requirements
• Provide guidance and advice on mortgage options, terms, and conditions
• Collaborate with underwriters, administrators, solicitors, to ensure smooth mortgage processing
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, trends, and best practices
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process
• Managing the entire mortgage application process.
• Handle often-complex client queries on a day-to-day basis;
• Provide high-quality service

· Help out other areas of the business as and when required

• Strong background in Mortgages and Financial Planning
• Expertise in Mortgage Marketing and Finance
• CeMap qualification or equivalent certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients
• Ability to analyze financial information and recommend appropriate solutions
• Previous recent experience in mortgage advisory or related financial services is an advantage
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills

This is a full-time position and includes Saturday mornings.

Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
