Role Description

David Lewis Mortgage Services Ltd is an independent mortgage broker established over 40 years with a growing client bank.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chelmsford for a Mortgage Advisor. Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

The Mortgage Advisor will be responsible for assessing client needs to provide tailored mortgage and financial advice, managing client relationships, and guiding them through the mortgage application process. The role also involves staying updated on market trends, analyzing financial documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of mortgages, mortgage marketing, and related financial products
• CeMAP qualification or equivalent certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a professional environment and deliver results
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience of mortgage software systems
• Experience of dealing with customers face-to-face
• A proven track record in advice and recommendation
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated and customer focused
• Knowledge of FCA regulatory compliance environment

Previous experience is essential- minimum 2 years
-Salary negotiable depending on experience.
