Finance Manager

I am working with an international freight company who are searching for a Finance Manager to join their growing UK Office

This will be a hands on position, which will be responsible for the team and business growth

• Core Accounting & Bookkeeping duties
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assist in improving cash collection processes
• Financial Reporting & Controls
• Management Accounting - Accruals, Journals, Prepayments
• Budgets, cashflow analysis
• Post and reconcile all transactions in the accounting system
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and maintain the general ledger
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Payroll Management
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Ensure correct calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits
• Manage payroll taxes, statutory deductions, and filings
• Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality
• Credit Control (Initial Stage)
• Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants/auditors
• Support management with financial insights and ad-hoc analysis
• Improve financial processes and internal controls as the business grows
• Familiar with tax (VAT) and custom duty

Experience with in a similar role, dealing with end to end finance duties
