We’re looking for a Buyer who can support our sourcing and purchasing activities across the business. Working as part of a small team, the role requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, production, and programme management to ensure on-time, compliant, and cost-effective supply.

The role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, services, and everyday consumables to support aerospace and defence engineering programmes and the everyday running of the company.

• 3+ years’ experience in a purchasing role within engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong numerical and communication skills (verbal & written) to support business demand.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and alloys, & specials processes/treatments.
• Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO
  9001 environments.
• Experience with Epicor 10/Kinetic ERP system.
• Experience with defence-related supply chains.

• Flexibility around the core start and finish times and finish at 12 noon on Fridays.
• Additional overtime at competitive rates can be offered Monday to Friday where required.
