An established engineering design consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Contract) to support a strong and ongoing pipeline of residential and mixed-use development projects across the UK.

This is a hands-on design role, suited to an experienced civil engineer who can take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals.

The Role

• Lead delivery of civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential and mixed-use developments
• Produce and review detailed designs for highways, drainage, levels and earthworks
• Prepare drawings, calculations and supporting information for S38, S104 and S278 approvals
• Coordinate with local authorities, statutory undertakers and internal project teams
• Provide technical input and guidance across multiple live schemes
• Manage workload independently while supporting wider project delivery

About You

We would be interested in reviewing CVs for candidates with:

• A strong UK engineering consultancy background
• Circa 8 years plus experience, primarily within residential and mixed-use development
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and drainage schemes through S38, S104 and S278 approvals
• Solid understanding of UK standards, adoption processes and local authority requirements
• Confidence working autonomously in a contract environment
