Overview

As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems and practices, contributing to our long-term HSEQ excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and update HSEQ policies and procedures annually.
  • Manage safety documentation and the company’s legislative register.
  • Maintain annual HSEQ reporting sheets and monthly management reports.
  • Oversee the internal audit schedule, conduct internal audits, and assist with external audits.
  • Lead the review and update of company risk assessments and undertake COSHH assessments.
  • Assist with investigations following incidents and ensure outcomes are communicated effectively.
  • Act as a role model for a strong health and safety culture, create safety alerts, and communicate updates.
  • Manage client portals and ensure compliance with environmental measurements for head office.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Auditing certification (e.g., BATALAS).
  • Detailed knowledge of management systems, standards, and policy writing.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSE law.
  • Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and work proactively.
Desirable Qualifications
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • IOSH Working Safely / SMSTS.
  • CCNSG / ECS Card.
  • First Aid training.
  • Knowledge of HV & LV systems or power distribution.
