Overview

As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems and practices, contributing to our long-term HSEQ excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop, review, and update HSEQ policies and procedures annually.
- Manage safety documentation and the company’s legislative register.
- Maintain annual HSEQ reporting sheets and monthly management reports.
- Oversee the internal audit schedule, conduct internal audits, and assist with external audits.
- Lead the review and update of company risk assessments and undertake COSHH assessments.
- Assist with investigations following incidents and ensure outcomes are communicated effectively.
- Act as a role model for a strong health and safety culture, create safety alerts, and communicate updates.
- Manage client portals and ensure compliance with environmental measurements for head office.
Skills & Qualifications
- Auditing certification (e.g., BATALAS).
- Detailed knowledge of management systems, standards, and policy writing.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of HSE law.
- Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and work proactively.
- NEBOSH qualification.
- IOSH Working Safely / SMSTS.
- CCNSG / ECS Card.
- First Aid training.
- Knowledge of HV & LV systems or power distribution.
- Approachable, collaborative, and a strong communicator.
- Passionate about safety and committed to raising standards.
- Proactive, eager to develop, and enthusiastic about continuous improvement.
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
