Music Teacher

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

We are seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teacher of Music to join our vibrant and forward-thinking department in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about music education and inspiring students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of music

• Prepare students for GCSE Music (or equivalent)

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

• Contribute to extra-curricular music activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and performances

• Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community

• Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education

• Be able to teach practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum

• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

• Be enthusiastic, organised, and a positive team player

• Be keen to contribute to the wider musical life of the school
