About the Role
As a Campus Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, welfare, and smooth running of the college environment. You will interact daily with students, staff, and visitors - helping maintain a welcoming, secure, and well-managed campus.

Key Responsibilities
Provide a visible and approachable presence across the campus
Support with safeguarding and student wellbeing, following college procedures
Ensure the site remains safe, orderly, and compliant with health & safety guidelines
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and behaviour-related situations professionally
Monitor access points, visitor entry, and general campus activity
Work closely with pastoral teams, curriculum leads, and college management
Complete reports and escalate concerns where appropriate

Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role (Campus Officer, Security Officer, Pastoral/Student Support, or similar)
Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and rapport-building skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and assertive when needed
Understanding of safeguarding procedures (training can be provided)
Reliable, organised, and committed to supporting young people
DBS on the Update Service is desirable
