This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lecturer in Plumbing, located at Chelmsford College. The Lecturer will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching focused on both theoretical and practical aspects of plumbing. Duties include providing tailored support to students, monitoring their progress, and ensuring they achieve their learning goals. The role also involves preparing teaching materials, delivering lessons to a diverse range of learners, and staying up-to-date with industry standards and curriculum requirements.

• Strong technical knowledge and practical expertise in Plumbing, covering installation, maintenance, safety standards, and relevant tools and technologies.
• Effective teaching, lesson planning, and assessment skills, preferably with experience in delivering vocational training.
• Ability to mentor and support students of diverse backgrounds to achieve their learning objectives and career aspirations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively engage with students and collaborate with colleagues.
• Relevant teaching qualifications or willingness to work towards achieving a teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
• Professional qualifications or certifications in Plumbing and related fields, with industry experience.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, with a dedication to inclusive education.
