Overview

We are looking for an efficient and flexible individual to join our pro-active library team. The successful candidate will assist with the organisation and maintenance of the school library as well as supervising and assisting students with their research and selection of reading material. Please note that some uploaded documents may require special software such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.

  • Support recruitment processes and documentation as directed (e.g., recruitment pack and recruitment monitoring form)
Qualifications and Skills

Applicants must demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy and have excellent Microsoft Office skills. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and calm manner along with excellent attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator, confident in dealing with both staff and students.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Hours and Compensation

Hours are 26 ½ per week, Mon 8.00 - 14.30 / Tue & Wed 8.00 - 16.30 / Thur 08.00 - 12.30 (Mon/Tue/Wed all include a 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Scale 5 Point 9, term time only (actual salary £17,206).
