Maternity Cover (Full Time)

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Chelmsford who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an English specialist who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).

The Role

* Teaching English Language and Literature

* Delivering well-planned, engaging lessons aligned to the curriculum

* Supporting students of mixed abilities to achieve strong outcomes

* Contributing positively to the department and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching English at secondary level

* Strong classroom and behaviour management

* Able to commit to a maternity cover contract

* ECTs and experienced teachers both welcome to apply
