We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable and dedicated Learning Support & Cover Assistant (Preparatory Divisions) (LSCA) to provide high-quality support to students across the Preparatory Divisions (Reception - Year
6) with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a full-time, term-time only role that is varied and rewarding, combining one-to-one support, small group intervention and in-class assistance.

New Hall School offers an exceptional working environment. The main campus occupies the Grade I listed former Tudor palace of Beaulieu. The School's conference and events venue is at the Grade I listed Boreham House, one mile away. New Hall is a warm, welcoming, and supportive community, with a staff of around 300. Beaulieu Park railway station is at the entrance to New Hall's Avenue: 30 minutes to Stratford and 38 minutes to London Liverpool Street.

The Elizabeth Line at Shenfield (13 minutes by train) terminates at Heathrow airport. Nearby airports include London Stansted, London Southend and London City.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with a range of SEND across the Preparatory Divisions (Reception - Year

  • Deliver small group interventions and in-class assistance as part of a team.
  • Assist teaching staff with classroom activities, resources and pupil management as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in supporting children with SEND is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to varied duties in a busy school environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
