Overview
Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic Life Skills Tutor to deliver a comprehensive Life Skills Programme. This role is suitable for individuals looking to progress in the field of education and to make a meaningful impact on learners' lives. As a flexible, creative and pro-active professional you will work alongside the Life Skills and Enrichment Manager to ensure a high-quality experience for learners preparing for life in modern Britain.
The Life Skills Tutor will deliver a wide range of highly transferable skills, support the delivery of wider enrichment activities and support Learner Voice meetings and events. While teaching experience is not essential, prior experience working with young people is vital to understand the needs of the learners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrate a passion for engaging with learners, and have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. If you are eager to inspire learners, support their personal growth, and contribute to their preparation for modern life and employment, join Chelmsford College's team of dedicated education professionals.
The College is committed to equality and diversity and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share these commitments. Starting salary will be dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
