Teaching Assistant - Behaviour
As a Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students. You work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies, interventions, and support plans that address challenging behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Position DetailsLocation: Chelmsford
Salary Scale: £89,000 – £140,000
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
- Implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
- Contribute
CASE to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives. - Provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
- Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
- Empathy and a genuine passion for promoting positive behaviour in students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Knowledge of relevant behaviour management strategies and interventions.
