Specialist SEND Learning Support Assistant – Chelmsford, Essex
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Role: Specialist SEND Learning Support Assistant (working with complex needs)
Contract: Long‑term contract (12 months, with the view of becoming permanent from August 2026 for the right candidate)
Pay: £88‑£105 per day (weekly pay)
Start date: ASAP
This is a Good Ofsted‑rated mainstream school in Chelmsford actively recruiting for specialist behaviour support workers with a psychology or criminology graduate background. The role can be filled by an experienced SEN behaviour support worker or a graduate, providing individualised support to children with complex needs.

- Works well within a team and is flexible
- Level 3 qualification or higher
- Graduates are desirable
- Strong educational background
- Excellent communication skills
- SEN experience
- Weekly pay
