Salary: £32‑£36 per hour

Teacher Active is working with a mainstream college in Chelmsford that holds a Good OFSTED rating. The college offers a modern, inclusive environment and aims to promote student engagement and academic success.

• Deliver electrical engineering lessons to year 11 and 12 students, inspiring them to pursue careers in the field.
• Plan and conduct lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's schemes of learning.
• Assess and report on pupils’ progress, providing feedback and support to achieve excellent results.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the inclusive culture of the school by supporting SEND pupils and pastoral needs.

• First class or 2:1 degree in Electrical Engineering.
• QTS, PGCE or equivalent, plus experience in a further education environment (industry experience valued).
• Teaching experience with a diverse cohort of young people.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Desirable experience with SEND and pastoral care.
• DBS update service clearance.
