1 : 1 Learning Support Assistant – SEN College – Chelmsford, Essex
Part Time – 3 Days Per Week

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1 : 1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN College in Chelmsford, Essex.
About the Role:You will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a nurturing educational environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1 : 1 support to a student with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with learning activities and emotional regulation
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
- Experience working with young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
- A supportive and inclusive working environment
- Ongoing training and professional development
