Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum.

Hours:

Full‑time – 10 Programmed Activities (DCC: SPA = 7.5:2.5). On‑call frequency 1:7;
Category B – 2% on‑call supplement.

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
• CCT or equivalent
• Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
• Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
• Inclusion in or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

NELFT is an award‑winning community and mental health Trust providing care for over 4.9 million people across North East London, Essex and Kent. We focus on evidence‑based innovation, continuous training, CPD, peer support and robust supervision and appraisal systems.

• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Southend, Essex, and Thurrock.
• Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
• Work directly with young people, their families, and liaise with external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
• Participate in the on‑call rota (currently 1:7) with a 2% basic salary Category B on‑call supplement.
• Support peers and the team leader as an effective team member while allowing their own initiative.
• Work alongside a Specialty Doctor in the service.
• Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
